What's In My Handbag

I really need to carry a small purse because when I carry a big one, the more I put in it and the heavier it gets.  Which leads to shoulder pain and back pain.  Ugh!!

Peanut Butter, you ask?  I don't know either.
I need to only have ONE lotion, not 3.  My goodness.
I don't even use Visine except one time I had something in my eye and it was really red.
My mom gave me this Visine to help it.  I've never used it since.
Not sure why I have the calculator.  I use my iPhone for that.
Speaking of iPhone...why do I still carry my old cell phone??
The USBs, umm...yeah, they need to be at home, not my purse.
Calendar, don't really use that either because I have one in my iPhone.
I just put the hairbrush in my purse the other day because it was in my van and I wanted to bring it inside the house.  Still hasn't happend....
I bought that little Bible because I was so excited that it was little and I could carry it in my purse.
However, it is not the version that I can understand very good.  So, I don't use it much.
I use my big ole heavy duty one, which would never fit into my purse.
I guess other than that, the other stuff can stay.
If I got rid of all the stuff mentioned I could use a smaller purse.
Plus, it is summer now.  I need to be fashionable!

My Pet Hates (Peeves)

Hmmm....where to I start?
Well, in no particular order, here goes...

I cannot stand being behind someone driving slow, especially in the fast lane.  Get outta my way people!!

When drivers don't use their turn signal when turning.  I mean, come on. It's not that hard to do.

People that cut line.  Umm...you can wait in line just like everyone else.

Rude customer service at stores.  If you don't like your job, then quit.

People talking loudly on their cellphone.  I do NOT want to hear your conversation!

I'm sure I could list more, but I won't.

My 5 Senses Right Now

See - I am still in the bed and plan to see the back of my eyelids after writing this post because I just took a pain pill and a muscle relaxer.  I hurt my back this week, so I am taking it easy until my back feels better.  So, right now I see my little boy playing a game on his daddy's iPhone.  It is so cute because he gets so excited.  I also see my husband in the bathroom shaving.  He is getting ready for church.  Unfortunately, I won't be going today because of my back.  I have the TV on HGTV and 'Income Property' is on.

Hear - I hear Tanman's sweet giggles and the games he is playing, the TV, the water running in the bathroom from my husband shaving.  I also hear my fan running.

Smell - I smell Irish Spring soap because Jad just took a shower.  I smell my coffee that is in the cup right next to me.

Taste - I taste my  yummy coffee with sugar and Hazelnut creamer in it.

Feel - I feel my sweet little boy sitting next to me.  I am under the covers so I feel them and I feel my fan blowing on me.

31 Day Blog Challenge...Day 4

What Are You Afraid Of

My upmost, main, #1, greatest, scariest, terrifying, frightening fear is my children getting KIDNAPPED.
I have had the fear from the moment my first child was born.
I am not sure why, but the sad story of Adam Walsh comes to my mind almost everytime I am out with my children.  Adam's story shows how fast someone can take your child.
My oldest is 15 years old and while he was growing up I never let him out of my sight except for one time...
We were in a big pet store.  I turned around.  He was gone!
I instantly went into panic mode.
I.Could.Not.Find.Him.
I went to the front of the store and asked them to lock their doors because I could not find my son.
I told them what he was wearing a red shirt and blue shorts.
Another customer heard me and came up to me.
She said, "Is that him?" and pointed to my little boy hunched down hiding in an aisle peaking around at me.
Praise Jesus!!  He was okay.  It was his idea to hide from me!
A little boy had a good talking to that night about not EVER doing that again.

My other son loves to play outside.
I remember when I was a kid, I would go out on my bike after school and not come home til dark.
My son does not go outside unless I or my husband is with him.
He doesn't go to the toy section of the store by himself.
He doesn't walk to far ahead or get too far behind when we go out anywhere.
He does not get out of my sight.

Along with kidnapping, of course another fear of mine is my children passing away.
Parents are not suppose to bury their children.
My heart goes out to those that have had to suffer this pain.
My sister had to do this as well as my best friend.
I CANNOT imagine their pain and heart break.

Another thing that is not so bad as the above that I am afraid of that may be silly to some of you is
I am afraid of dark bathrooms.
My master bathroom has no windows in it and when I am in there, my son likes to turn the light out on me.
IT FREAKS ME OUT!!!
I cannot get up in the middle of the night and use the potty without turning the light on.
I think it comes from the Bell Witch myth from when I was a kid.
I never had the guts to do that!
